Fishery Rules

These rules are to help maintain the health and welfare of our fish and the site:

Members Rules

  1. Anglers will use their own landing nets, 42″ on Orchard and Oak
  2. No keepnets
  3. On Orchard and Oak you must use a suitable sized unhooking mat
  4. Two rods maximum per angler
  5. Barbless hooks only
  6. No surface fishing, floating baits, floating freebies or bubble floats
  7. No bread to be used as bait or thrown into the lakes
  8. No barbeques
  9. Entry is from 7:00am and close at 7:30 pm in the summer, 5.30 pm in the winter
  10. Take all litter home with you
  11. Dogs prohibited on site
  12. No guests on site after 7:30 pm
  13. Minimum 10 lb line and no less than a size 8 barbless hooks on Orchard and Oak
  14. No fixes leads or any other death rig
  15. Rigs must be safe with the lead able to eject of the fish gets snagged. Korda style clips are acceptable, but the rubbers must not be forced down too tightly preventing the lead from ejecting.
  16. Klin-ik, or similar carp care kit, for treatment of hook or other marks is encouraged and appreciated.

Additional Club Match Rules

  1. We provide landing nets and keepnets, the use of personal nets is prohibited
  2. Dry nets on bank before use and leave nets laid out to dry on the bank by the net box after match.
  3. 60lbs net limit, disqualification for anyone over 60lb net limit
  4. Carp over 2lbs in one net, smaller carp and silvers in second net
  5. Use our weighing sling + unhooking mat
  6. Bread can be used as a sinking hook bait only in the winter
  7. Take all your litter home with you, this includes cigarette butts
  8. No gardening
  9. Toilet only to be used, no bushes

Anglers are responsible for their own safety, all accidents must be reported before leaving the fishery
