These rules are to help maintain the health and welfare of our fish and the site:
Members Rules
- We reserve the right to close the lakes at any time without reason or notice. However prior notice will be given where possible and an alternative booking date offered.
- Two rods maximum per angler
- Rods must not be left unattended at any time for any reason.
- Barbless hooks must be used at all times no bent or curved hooks. NO Magic Twigs to be used.
- No keepnets.
- Nets to be dipped before use, clean towels to be used.
- Toilets are provided…… please use them!
- You are reminded that you should be in possession of an EA rod licence.
- Whilst we welcome guests to the fishery, you are restricted to one guest per member. You must ensure that your guest follows the rules they are your responsibility.
- Do not light fires or burn the grass or platforms when using cooking equipment. Barbecues are banned.
- No noise please always respect other anglers and neighbours.
- Take all litter, cigarette butts and unused bait home. Anyone leaving litter will have their membership cancelled.
- No bread to be used as bait or thrown into the lakes.
- No dogs
- All anglers must be in possession of a large 42-inch landing net.
- Nets to be dipped before use, clean towels to be used. Net dip in carpark by Fox’s.
- All anglers must be in possession of a fish care kit to treat damaged or wounded fish.
- Minimum line strength is 10lbs, and size 8 barbless hooks.
- Barbless hooks must be used at all times no bent or curved hooks. NO Magic Twigs to be used.
- Fixed rigs are banned. We will carry out rig checks from time to time and anyone found using fixed rigs will be banned on the spot. This includes using safety clips which have been glued in or push on too hard.
- Only weigh slings to be used for weighing fish.
- Extra-large unhooking mats or cradles must be used at all times.
- Fish being photographed must be always held over an unhooking mat. Photographs must be taken kneeling down. Please return fish to the water as quickly as possible.
- When returning fish to water you must use a sling or zipped unhooking mat, under no circumstance should you carry an unretained fish.
- Bait boats can be used with care. When using a bait boat, this must be directly in front of the swim being fished and not diagonally across the lake.
- No guests overnight on site after 7.30pm.
The management accept no responsibility, however caused, for injury, loss or damage arising from the use of the fishery and or its facilities. All accidents must be reported before leaving the fishery.
The management has the right to cancel membership at any time.

Winter 07:00hrs – 17:30hrs
Additional Club Match Rules
- We provide landing nets and keep nets, please use these only, no personal nets to be used.
- Barbless hooks only.
- Dry nets on bank before use and leave nets laid out to dry on the bank by the net box after match.
- Clean towels only to be used.
- 60lbs net limit.
- Carp over 2lbs in one net, smaller carp, and silvers in second net.
- Use our weighing sling + unhooking mat.
- Bread can be used as a sinking hook bait only in winter.
- Take all litter home with you, this includes cigarette butts.
- No gardening.
- Please use the toilet provided, no bushes.
